 The Kalyani Group had promoted Kalyani Wheels as a part of its diversification plan. Kalyani Wheels then had a technical collaboration with Lemmerz Werke, Germany. Subsequently, Lemmerz Werke became a joint venture partner and the new company was christened as Kalyani Lemmerz Ltd (KLL). The company manufactures Wheel Rims for utility vehicles, light and heavy commercial vehicles and tractors.
Lemmerz is a world leader in wheel rim technology and supplies to leading automotive manufacturers like Daimler Benz, General Motors, Ford and Volvo amongst others. Lemmerz is now a part of Hayes, U.S.A., who are the world’s largest manufacturers of Automotive Wheel Rims.
KLL manufacturers wheel rims using the flat stock, cold pressing and flow forming method pioneered by the Lemmerz Group. This process gives Kalyani Lemmerz a competitive edge over other wheel rim manufacturers. |

| Special purpose, high speed Flash Butt Welding Machine, 2000 ton Hydraulic Compression Moulding Press, manufactured to German specifications, heavy duty Flow Forming Machine of German make, special purpose, high speed Twin-wire Submerged Arc Welding Machine with power sources that give high reliability and weld strength, and special purpose Boring CNC Operated Machine for accurate wheel mounting, ensure that the wheel rims meet global quality standards. Our CAD facilities include high end HCL-HP Workstation, IDEAS software. A Cornering Fatigue Test Rig, Radial Fatigue Test Rig and Salt Spray Testing Machine are also available. |

| Our wheel rims range from 5.5 – 16 to 8.5 – 20, and drop center wheel rims of 5.5 x 15 and 4.5E x 16 to 8.25 x 22.5 that are designed to reduce weight. The specially designed disc with a back bending effect imparts more durability, while the 2 –piece design for HCV’s give a better grip on the gutter and are easier for removal and fitment. The 8 hole design improves cooling of the brake drum – critical in hilly terrains. |
